GiveDirectly, a globally recognized nonprofit organization that has delivered over $1 billion in cash support to people living in poverty across 15+ countries, is looking for motivated individuals to join their Malawi team as Field Officers.

✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct household census surveys

• Register and enroll eligible beneficiaries

• Explain programme details to communities

• Support recipients on mobile money usage and safety

• Engage with community leaders and stakeholders

• Collect community feedback and beneficiary stories

• Ensure safeguarding, integrity, and compliance in all activities

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

✔ Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Community Development, or related field

✔ 1–2 years experience in community work, data collection, surveys, call centre, or related field

✔ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

✔ Experience with SurveyCTO, ODK, or mobile data collection tools is an added advantage

✔ Strong communication skills in Chichewa and English

✔ Ability to work in rural and remote areas

✔ Honest, hardworking, and team-oriented individuals preferred

• Research experience

• Experience supporting vulnerable or low-income communities

• Additional local language skills
