Job Summary

The Enterprise Sales Accounts Manager will be part of the SimbaNET Sales Department and will report directly to the Head of Department Enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new customer acquisitions, business development activities, and all sales-related functions. The role focuses on driving growth in monthly billable revenue through new customer acquisition, account management, proposal preparation, and closing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activities for enterprise revenue lines in line with budgeted targets.
  • Grow the customer base through new customer acquisitions.
  • Cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers based on their needs.
  • Prepare and submit responsive business proposals, RFQs, and bid documents.
  • Identify and develop prospective clients within assigned accounts and sectors.
  • Promote and sell SimbaNET products, solutions, and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and service rates with customers, subject to approval by the Head of Department Enterprise.
  • Ensure customers execute the necessary service agreements before service delivery.
  • Follow up on customer payments after the first invoice has been issued in accordance with company policy.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets within specified timelines.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Provide regular market feedback on product suitability, competitiveness, and new product opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by management.
  • Support Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer Support, and Finance teams in collections, issue resolution, and upselling activities.

Performance Target

  • Achieve agreed monthly sales revenue targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ corporate sales experience in the telecommunications industry, including:
  • Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
  • Public Data Network Operators (PDNOs)
  • GSM Operators
  • Telecommunications Resellers
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Good knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales management and business development principles.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Self-driven, motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within a corporate environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments to achieve organizational objectives.
