POSITION: PRIMARY HEADTEACHER

OVERVIEW

Kirk Range Private Schools invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and dedicated education professionals for the position of Primary Headteacher. We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for academic excellence, effective school management, and the holistic development of learners.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Implementing school programmes in accordance with the Ministry of Education guidelines and policies.

- Planning, coordinating, and supervising teaching and learning activities.

- Developing school timetables and managing teachers' workloads effectively.

- Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the school and maintaining learner discipline.

- Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, teachers, and other education stakeholders.

- Leading curriculum implementation and monitoring teacher performance to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should possess the following:

- A Primary School Teaching Certificate or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.

- A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Primary School Headteacher or in a comparable school leadership position.

- Strong leadership, management, communication, and team-building skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver results with integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

- Sound knowledge of primary education policies and the Malawi education curriculum.

- Registration with the Teachers Council of Malawi will be an added advantage.
