APPLICATIONS AND ECHANNELS SUPPORT OFFICER

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the successtul candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for a range of applications and systems used by the Bank. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as development of new solutions and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support all Core Banking Applications (CBA) and non-CBA applications and e-channels.

Develop and maintain operational documentation for all applications and e-channels.

Perform systems administration, configuration, integration and performance monitoring.

Provide user support and training on all supported applications.

Execute routine system maintenance, backups, restoration, and operational checks.

Coordinate system maintenance activities and ensure compliance with Ecobank Group change and configuration management guidelines.

Supervise and monitor the development and integration of relevant interfaces with third-party applications.

Automate manual systems as well as repetitive tasks and workflows across various business functions.

Manage the software library and ensure secure on-site and off-site backups for all applications.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus at least 3 years relevant experience in the banking sector.
