OVERVIEW
The school is seeking disciplined and experienced Cooks to prepare nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety for the school community.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must:
- Possess a minimum of the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Have previous experience working as a cook in a school, hotel, restaurant, hospital, or other institutional catering environment.
- Experience in a boarding school will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
- Be physically fit and able to work under pressure.
- Be honest, disciplined, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Be willing to learn and improve culinary skills.
- Demonstrate high professional integrity and maintain confidentiality in matters relating to students and the school.
