POSITION: IT SECURITY MANAGER

OVERVIEW 

This position is tenable in the Information Technology Department at FDH Financial Holdings Head Office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager IT, the successful candidate shall be responsible for leading and overseeing the IT Risk and Security function including management of IT Risk and Security Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the implementation and successful execution of an Information Security programme for FDH.

Implement and maintain the organization’s IT Risk management and Information Security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.

Ensure IT systems and infrastructure comply with the organization’s security policies, regulatory requirements, and recognized industry standards.

Development of a robust and fit for purpose approach to adopting Information Security best practices within FDH.

Manage IT Risk and Security Officers and ensure effective delivery of the team’s responsibilities.

Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning by implementing IT security and resilience controls.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

Minimum of a Bachelor in Information Security and / or Information Technology degree or equivalent industry certification.

CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

Information Technology or Information Security leadership role within the banking and / or financial services sector.

Key Competencies

NIST CSF, SOC 2, PCIDSS or ISO 27001/2 familiarity is ideal.

Business Analysis and Business Case Management.

Planning and organizing skills.

Critical and Analytical thinking.

Effective written communication and interpersonal skills.

People management skills.

Coaching and mentoring.
