Overview
Early Stars Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join its growing team. The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging, and learner-centred classroom environment that inspires academic excellence, creativity, and character development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum and learners' needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess learners' progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour, discipline, and respect in the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding learners' progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the School Director to support school programmes and improve learning outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
- Uphold the school's mission, vision, and values at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience at primary school level is an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across the primary curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing learners' academic and personal growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic reporting, record-keeping, and communication skills (Email/WhatsApp).
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
