POSITION: Chef
Location: Lilongwe
Overview
Florencia Lodge is inviting applications from a suitably qualified and experienced Male Chef to join its team. The successful candidate should be ready to start work immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the lodge's standards.
- Plan and prepare menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper food storage and stock management.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Comply with food safety and health regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel, lodge, restaurant, or related hospitality establishment.
- Relevant culinary training or certification will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be ready to start work immediately.
