About DAPP Malawi
DAPP Malawi is a locally registered NGO working in education, health, food security and community development. The organisation is seeking four suitably qualified and experienced candidates to serve as M&E Assistants under the TRADE Project.
Job overview
The M&E Assistants will support data collection, verification, quality assurance, reporting, documentation and monitoring of project activities. Successful candidates will be based in either Ntchisi or Kasungu District.
Key responsibilities
* Compile data from various source registers and ensure accurate entry into relevant databases.
* Provide real-time data when requested.
* Conduct Data Quality Assessments and monthly data verification and validation exercises.
* Submit weekly Indicator Performance Tracking Tables (IPTT).
* Ensure registers, data collection forms and other relevant documents are properly organised and safely stored.
* Compile, sort and verify information before entering it into databases.
* Conduct weekly data verification and cleaning for all services.
* Identify and correct data errors or report them to the supervisor.
* Assist in training project technical teams on data collection tools and reporting.
* Provide supportive supervision to coaches at school level.
* Support documentation and archiving of project information, including success stories and lessons learned.
* Participate in planning and monitoring of project activities.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate or Diploma in M&E, Social Sciences, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field from a reputable institution.
* Excellent typing and transcription skills, including fast typing speeds.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with digital data collection tools.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good time-management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and pride in performance.
* Previous experience working with DAPP is an added advantage.
* Candidates already based in or around the implementing districts are encouraged to apply.
