Mtola Academy – Teachers  

Location: Lilongwe (Area 38, 6 Miles near Bunda Turnoff)

OVERVIEW  

Mtola Academy, a private secondary school offering MANEB curriculum, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and skilled teachers. The Academy seeks teachers in any three of the following subjects:  

- Agriculture  

- English  

- Chemistry  

- Physics  

- Biology  

- Mathematics  

- Computer Studies  

- Geography  

- History  

- Bible Knowledge  

- Chichewa  

- Life Skills  

- Social Studies  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

- Teach according to the prescribed syllabus of the Academy  

- Provide qualitative written work to students as per Academy requirements  

- Discipline students in line with the Academy code of conduct  

- Evaluate and administer tests to students  

- Participate in at least one co‑curricular activity  

- Interpret and implement the national syllabus  

- Prepare schemes and maintain records of work  

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS  

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education  

- At least 3 years’ teaching experience  

- Age 25 years and above  

- Self‑motivated, team player, innovative, and results‑oriented
