POSITION: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

OVERVIEW

Bishop Donald Aden Secondary School, located at Makpola Parish in Mangochi District, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill various teaching positions. The school operates under the Anglican Diocese of Upper Shire and is committed to delivering high-quality education and moral grounding to its students.

Available Teaching Positions

Applications are invited from teachers specialising in the following subject combinations:

Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry

Biology / Agriculture / Geography

English Language / Literature in English

History / Social Studies / Life Skills

Chichewa / Bible Knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach specific subjects according to the Malawi National Education Curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and student progress records.

Set, administer, and mark school examinations and assessments.

Monitor student conduct and enforce school rules and discipline.

Participate in co-curricular activities and spiritual programmes of the school.

Provide guidance and counselling to students.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education (Secondary) from a recognised institution.

Deep knowledge of the MSCE syllabus.

A high level of integrity, professional conduct, and sobriety.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in a faith-based environment.

Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
