POSITION: GRAPHIC DESIGNER/VIDEOGRAPHER
Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
JOB PURPOSE
Liwiro Finance Limited is looking for a creative and commercially minded Graphic Designer/Videographer to develop high-quality visual content that strengthens the company's brand, supports marketing campaigns and effectively communicates its products and services.
The role combines graphic design, photography, videography, video editing and digital content creation for online and offline platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Film Production or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years' relevant professional experience
• Proven experience creating content for social media and digital marketing
• Experience in a corporate or agency environment is an added advantage
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, videography and video editing capabilities
TECHNICAL & CORE SKILLS
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in relevant design and editing software and have experience with photography/video equipment and social media content creation tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphic Design
• Design flyers, posters, banners, brochures, presentations, social media graphics and advertisements
• Develop creative designs for promotions, campaigns and corporate communications
• Maintain brand consistency across all materials
• Prepare artwork for digital and print platforms
Videography & Photography
• Plan, shoot and produce high-quality videos
• Capture photographs and footage during events and field activities
• Produce promotional videos, customer testimonials, interviews and educational content
• Ensure quality lighting, framing, sound and composition
• Maintain the company's photo and video library
Video Editing
• Edit videos for social media, websites, presentations and advertisements
• Add music, captions, graphics, transitions, subtitles, voiceovers and appropriate visual effects
Social Media & Digital Content
• Work with the Marketing team to create engaging visual content
• Develop content calendars and visual concepts where required
• Monitor current design and video trends
• Support digital marketing campaigns with creative content
Corporate Branding
• Ensure correct use of company logo, colours, fonts and other brand elements
• Support corporate brand guidelines
• Assist with branding of offices, vehicles, promotional materials and events
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Marketing, Administration, IT and other departments
External: Advertising agencies, printers, photographers, videographers, media houses, suppliers and creative service providers
IMPORTANT
Candidates must demonstrate previous experience in graphic design, photography and video production.
Applicants should provide links to videos or other creative content they have produced, or submit a portfolio showcasing previous work.
Candidates without an online portfolio may provide details of relevant projects or previous work experience.
A practical design and/or video production assessment may be conducted during the selection process.
