Position: HEAD CHEF

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Hospitality and tourism or in food production
• Four years working experience

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing kitchen check list.
• Developing and promoting new menu ideas and special food events.
• Allocating work and supervising staff.
• Monitoring sectional plans and budget.
• Maintaining the kitchen inventory.
• Preparing duty roster for kitchen staff.
• Preparing food.
• Implementing hotel standard operating procedures.
• Liaising with food and beverage staff on event management and menu compiling.
• Ordering supplies from stores.
• Compiling and submitting reports.
• Up-selling hotel products.
• Inducting new employees in the kitchen.
• Participating in food costing.
