CARE MALAWI
SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS FOR LILONGWE AND BLANTYRE WAREHOUSES
CARE Malawi invites sealed quotations from reputable and qualified security system suppliers and installers for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and training of CCTV surveillance systems at its warehouses in Lilongwe and Blantyre, Malawi.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The CCTV systems are intended to enhance:
- Security monitoring
- Access control
- Asset protection
- Incident investigation
The proposed solution should be a Hybrid-Ready CCTV System with local recording and provision for future cloud backup capability.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The CCTV configuration should include:
- 100% local NVR recording
- 2TB surveillance HDD storage per site
- Remote viewing capability
- Cloud-backup readiness, with cloud backup not activated initially or with provision for later activation
SURVEILLANCE COVERAGE
1. LILONGWE WAREHOUSE
The CCTV system should cover:
- Main Gate: Entry and exit of vehicles, staff, visitors and deliveries.
- Side of Warehouse: Movement along the perimeter and detection of unauthorized access.
- Rear of Warehouse: Rear access points and the back perimeter.
Alternative Option – Main Gate Only
Bidders are also requested to separately provide a quotation for the supply and installation of one CCTV camera covering only the Main Gate at the Lilongwe Warehouse.
The alternative quotation should clearly indicate all associated equipment, installation and configuration costs.
2. BLANTYRE WAREHOUSE
The CCTV system should cover:
- Main Warehouse Entrance: Personnel and vehicle access into the warehouse.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The proposed solution should include:
- 4 × 4MP PoE CCTV Cameras — 3 for Lilongwe and 1 for Blantyre
- 2 × 4-Channel Network Video Recorders (NVRs) — 1 per site
- 2 × 2TB WD Purple Surveillance Hard Drives — 1 per site
- 2 × 4-Port PoE Switches — 1 per site
- Cat6 copper cabling and network accessories
- 2 × 1500VA UPS Units — 1 per site
- 2 × 24-inch monitoring screens — 1 per site
- Mounting brackets
- Conduits
- Connectors
- Surge protection devices
- Configuration accessories
- Any other materials required for a complete and operational installation
BIDDER REQUIREMENTS
Interested firms should provide:
- Company profile and valid business registration documents
- Proof of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
- At least three references for comparable assignments
- Product warranties and after-sales support arrangements
- Detailed technical and financial quotation
- Financial quotation using the required financial proposal template
- Warranty and guarantee periods for all CCTV equipment supplied and installed, including cameras, NVRs, storage devices, UPS units, monitors and accessories
- Details of after-sales support and fault-response procedures
SITE INSPECTION
Bidders may visit the CARE Malawi warehouses for physical inspection of the warehouse locations and areas before submitting their quotations.
