VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ MILLENNIUM PRIVATE SECONDARY SCHOOL
POSITION: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
Location: Area 25, Sector 7, Lilongwe
We are inviting
applications from qualified and dedicated teachers to fill the following positions:
1. English Teacher
2. Chichewa Teacher
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Education from a recognised institution.
Relevant teaching specialisation in English or Chichewa.
Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
Ability to work professionally with learners and fellow teachers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Teach English or Chichewa according to the approved curriculum.
B. Prepare detailed lesson plans and teaching materials.
C. Conduct lessons effectively and engage learners in classroom activities.
D. Assess learners through tests, exercises, assignments and examinations.
E. Mark and record learners' work and academic progress.
F. Provide appropriate support to learners who need additional assistance.
G. Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
H. Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
I. Participate in meetings, school activities and academic programmes.
J. Communicate professionally with parents/guardians when required.
K. Continuously improve teaching methods and subject knowledge.
L. Perform other reasonable academic duties assigned by management.
