POSITION: SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER – GRADE H
Location: Mtakataka, Dedza
OVERVIEW
Mua Catholic Hospital is owned by the Diocese of Dedza. It operates under the umbrella body of Christian Health Assocication of Malawi (CHAM). Located in the area of Traditional Authority Kachindamoto, in the Eastern side of Dedza District which is in Central Region of Malawi.
Mua Hospital Would Like To Recruit Senior Medical Officer – Grade H
REQUIREMENTS
Should posses a minimum of MBBS in medicine obtained from a recognised training institution and must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi
Atleast 1 year work experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting ward rounds of admited patients to review possible dischargesand treatment .
Attending to referral cases from out –patients derpartments
Perfomaming normal surgical operations and attending to theatre emergencies
Planning and preparing activities for Health Centres under the hospital
Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of activities in Health Centres
Supervising clinical paramedical staff
Supervising the recording of patients data in relevant registers
Supervising the aggregation, analyzing and interpretation of data
Supervising the processing and dissemination of information to all relevant stakeholders including submission of weekly reports to the designated officer.
Any other duties deemed reasonable for the post.
Any other duties that may be deemed reasonable for the pose and those delegated by the relevant Authority.
