POSITION: ENGINEER
Location: Blantyre
OVERVIEW
Workforce Recruitment Services (WRS), on behalf of its client, a growing and dynamic company operating in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates to join its team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, and/or a Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Industrial attachment or internship experience in manufacturing/FMCG will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support production, manufacturing and operational processes to achieve efficiency and productivity targets.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational and equipment-related challenges.
• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.
• Work closely with production, maintenance and quality teams.
• Utilize and interact with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems in production and operational processes.
