POSITION: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Rays of Hope Academy invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for Secondary School Teacher positions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Planning, preparing and maintaining units of study.
- Implementing and updating the curriculum according to students' learning needs and the Academy's standards.
- Delivering well-planned lessons and engaging classroom activities.
- Participating in school activities, including staff meetings, class programmes and field trips.
- Ensuring students' safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Monitoring students' academic performance and wellbeing while collaborating with parents and fellow teachers.
- Conducting fair assessments and submitting progress reports to the Principal.
- Designing teaching activities that support students' mental and emotional development.
- Maintaining accurate student records in accordance with applicable laws and school policies.
- Supporting students' academic, mental and physical wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the school community.
- Enforcing school rules and appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Willingness to sign the Child Safeguarding Policy.
- Emotional stability and spiritual maturity.
- Honesty, transparency and the ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
