Position: Poultry Veterinary Technician (Layers Division)
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor layer vaccination programs
• Conduct routine flock health inspections
• Diagnose and manage layer diseases
• Administer treatments & maintain medication records
• Monitor mortality, egg production & flock performance
• Enforce biosecurity protocols
• Conduct post-mortem examinations
• Train staff & prepare health reports
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Diploma in Animal Health, Veterinary Science or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial layer production
• Strong knowledge of layer diseases & vaccination programs
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills
• Ability to work on-site in Lilongwe
• Professional registration (added advantage)
