POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

Location: Lilongwe

OVERVIEW 

Chuma Changa Credit Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Accountant, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Compile financial and management accounting reports

• Submit statutory returns to the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM)

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements

• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts

• Recommend updates to financial policies

• Ensure compliance with tax, procurement, and payment policies

• Oversee insurance coverage for the organization

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy or reputable organization
