RIGHT TO CARE MALAWI – DRIVER
Location: Mzimba South
Right to Care Malawi is seeking a Driver to support vaccination outreach and general transportation needs.
Essential Duties:
- Drive Right to Care vehicles to pick or drop employees at vaccination sites
- Assist with setting up vaccination sites during outreach
- Mount and remove tents
- Deliver vaccines following cold chain requirements
- Ensure vehicles are always cleaned and maintained
- Ensure insurance and certificate of fitness stickers are placed as required
- Regularly refuel vehicles
- Maintain a current driver's license
Vehicle Maintenance and Management:
- Manage vehicles in accordance with Right to Care's vehicle management policy
- Maintain vehicle maintenance log
- Plan and coordinate vehicle parts repairs and replacements
- Ensure vehicles are properly fitted with required equipment
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Clean valid driver's license
- Defensive driving certificate
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Required Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years' work experience as a driver with a safe driving record
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- Skills in minor vehicle repairs
