POSITION: CHEF 


Location: Lilongwe



OVERVIEW 

Woodlands Hotel & Resort is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and passionate individuals to fill the position of Chef.


Position: Chef


Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards.

Ensure food is prepared hygienically and in compliance with food safety regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.

Develop and implement menu items in consultation with management.

Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of kitchen resources.

Supervise and work effectively with other kitchen staff.

Minimum Requirements

Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field.

Proven 5 year experience working as a Chef in a hotel.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Must be reliable, disciplined, and professional.

Additional Requirement

Applicants must reside within surrounding areas of Woodlands Hotel & Resort or City Center to ensure ease of reporting for duty and operational efficiency.
