POSITION: HR & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Location: Lilongwe
OVERVIEW
Shacon Ltd is seeking a dynamic, professional, and experienced HR & Administration Officer to join our growing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all Human Resources and administrative functions for the company
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Liaise with the Labor Office, Pension Fund offices, and other relevant government authorities
Handle employee recruitment, onboarding, contracts, leave administration, disciplinary matters, and performance records
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management
Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
Perform any other duties assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in Human Resources and Administration
Good knowledge of Malawi labor laws and HR best practices
Experience dealing with the Labor Office, Pension Fund offices, and other government institutions
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chichewa (spoken and written)
Confident, mature, and capable of handling challenging or uncomfortable situations professionally
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
