1. Marketing Interns (Remote)

We are looking for energetic, persuasive and results-driven Marketing Interns to help accelerate the growth of our AI-powered HR Management Platform among businesses, NGOs, institutions and SMEs across Malawi.

This is more than a marketing internship. You will gain practical experience in technology sales, digital marketing, business development and entrepreneurship while working with one of Malawi's emerging technology companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Mvungi's HR Management Software and other digital solutions.
• Identify and engage prospective business clients.
• Generate qualified sales leads and schedule product demonstrations.
• Build and maintain relationships with organisations and decision-makers.
• Support digital and field marketing campaigns.
• Represent Mvungi during networking events, exhibitions and business meetings.
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback.
• Achieve agreed marketing and client acquisition targets.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and persuasion abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Passion for technology, entrepreneurship and business development.
• Experience in sales or digital marketing is an added advantage.

2. IT Interns (2 Positions – On-site, Blantyre)

We are seeking two passionate IT Interns to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our AI-powered workforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with software development and testing.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Support website, server and database maintenance.
• Participate in system deployments and troubleshooting.
• Assist in implementing new platform features.
• Prepare technical documentation where required.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, databases and computer networking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Blantyre.

3. University Ambassadors (Remote)

Open to students from recognised universities and colleges across Malawi.

Help connect fellow students with career opportunities, internships and digital workforce solutions while developing valuable leadership, marketing and entrepreneurship skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Mvungi services within your institution.
• Register students and graduates on the Mvungi platform.
• Organise campus awareness activities.
• Serve as the official Mvungi representative at your institution.
• Generate referrals and support student engagement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a recognised university or college.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Active participation in student activities is an added advantage.
• Passion for youth empowerment, technology and innovation.

4. Customer Support Interns (2 Positions – On-site, Blantyre)

We are looking for friendly, professional and customer-focused individuals to provide excellent support to our growing community of employers, job seekers and business clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and online platforms.
• Assist users with account registration and platform navigation.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Escalate technical issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer support records.
• Contribute to improving customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, ICT, Customer Service, Communications or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Patient, organised and customer-oriented.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Blantyre.
