ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A rural agricultural project based in Enyezini, approximately 15 km west of Mzuzu, is inviting applications from qualified, practical and experienced candidates for the position of Poultry Supervisor.

The successful candidate will support poultry management and chicken production, supervise workers and maintain accurate records to help ensure efficient daily operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily poultry management and chicken production activities.
• Supervise workers involved in poultry operations.
• Monitor poultry activities and identify operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records relating to poultry management and production.
• Organise daily tasks and support effective work coordination.
• Carry out hands-on poultry management duties.
• Promote reliable and orderly poultry operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be between 30 and 50 years of age.
• Possess at least the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Be able to speak and understand English.
• Have practical experience in poultry management and chicken production.
• Be able to supervise workers and maintain accurate records.
• Be reliable, observant and willing to work hands-on with poultry.
