ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A rural agricultural project located in Enyezini, approximately 15 km west of Mzuzu, is inviting applications from alert, trustworthy and physically fit candidates for the position of Watchman / Dog Handler.

The successful candidate will support security operations at the project site and handle dogs as required. Applicants should be prepared to work night shifts and weekends when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the premises and remain alert to potential security risks.
• Support the protection of the project's property and facilities.
• Handle and manage dogs as required for security duties.
• Apply appropriate dog-handling practices.
• Maintain vigilance during assigned shifts.
• Work night shifts and weekends when required.
• Carry out other relevant security duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be aged between 30 and 50 years.
• Possess at least the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Be able to speak and understand English.
• Have experience in handling and training dogs.
• Be alert, trustworthy and physically fit.
• Be willing to work night shifts and weekends when required.

Enyezini, approximately 15 km west of Mzuzu, Malawi.
