About the Opportunity

Mami Foods is seeking two self-motivated, energetic and reliable Sales and Marketing Representatives to promote and sell its range of products, including juices, dried fruits, herbal teas, jams, spices and condiments.

The opportunity involves direct sales, customer development, operating a juice bar and supporting events.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Mami Foods products to individuals, offices, shops, restaurants and other establishments in New Naperi and surrounding areas.
• Identify new customers, follow up on enquiries and build repeat business.
• Operate the juice bar at Spendrite during weekdays, serve customers and actively drive sales.
• Secure bookings for weddings, bridal showers, corporate functions and other events.
• Help promote and run weekend events at Spendrite.
• Set up product displays and juice bars, sell products and serve customers during events.
• Maintain hygiene standards.
• Account for stock and cash.
• Submit accurate daily sales records.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants should:

• Be based in Blantyre and able to travel reliably to New Naperi.
• Be self-motivated and capable of generating sales with minimal supervision.
• Have confidence, good communication and customer service skills.
• Be honest, presentable and dependable.
• Be available for weekday and weekend work as scheduled.
• Have previous experience in sales, marketing, retail, hospitality or events. This will be an advantage.

Payment Terms

This is a commission-based opportunity. There is no fixed monthly salary.

• Product and juice bar sales: Commission based on sales achieved.
• Event work: An agreed flat fee for each event worked.
• Commission rates, event fees and payment terms will be explained and agreed upon before engagement.
