DATA OFFICER (2 POSITIONS)

Position Summary

The Data Officer will be responsible for the collection, entry, validation, and management of client-level health data to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting across AHF-supported facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate collection, validation, and timely reporting of routine program data 📊

- Manage data capture and integrity across EMRs, Web PPR, and Excel-based systems

- Generate analytical M&E reports and dashboards to support performance monitoring

- Implement data quality assurance mechanisms, including routine data verification and validation

- Collaborate with facility teams to strengthen client tracking systems and linkage/retention monitoring

Qualifications and Competencies

- Advanced Diploma or higher in Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health Informatics, or related field

- At least 2 years of experience in data management within HIV/AIDS or public health programs

- Solid knowledge of national HIV data systems, key indicators, and reporting frameworks

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Access, and other Office applications

- Practical experience with EMRs, DHIS2, HMIS, and mobile data collection platforms
