The company has vacancies at one of its Project Sites in Rumphi as follows:

Job Title: TLB Operator (Dump Truck Driver) (2) (Re-Advertised)

Nature of Contract: One Year Fixed Term

Duty Station: Rumphi

Reporting to: Site Manager/Logistics Administrator

Department: Workshop

JOB Summary a 

To operate a TLB truck safely and efficiently for the transportation of materials such as sand, quarry, soil and debris while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a tipper truck for delivery and collection of construction materials

• Ensure materials are transported safely without spillage or damage

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, oil, lights, fuel e.t.c)

• Load and offload materials in coordination with site personnel

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage and mileage

• Adhere to all traffic laws and occupational health and safety standards

• Report accidents, breakdowns and mechanical faults promptly

• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure it is serviced regularly

• Follow instructions from supervisors and dispatch teams

• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications & Experience

• Malawi school Certificate of Education or its equivalent

• Valid Malawian driver’s licence (appropriate heavy duty category Class C or G)

• Atleast 2-5 years proven experience operating a tipper truck or heavy vehicle

• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences
