Overview

Mily's Garden Lounge is seeking hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porters to support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with supplies, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing supplies.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with routine tasks as required.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of working long hours.
• Hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
