ABOUT THE POSITION
Instacrete is inviting applications from experienced and qualified Mixer Truck Drivers to join its transport team in Lilongwe and Blantyre.
Successful candidates will operate and maintain concrete mixer trucks, deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites, and ensure that deliveries are completed safely and on time.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Experience
- A valid Malawi driving licence, Class CE, with the required category or equivalent.
- At least two years of proven experience driving mixer trucks.
- Good knowledge of local construction sites and routes.
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
Personal Attributes
- Strong commitment to road safety and responsible driving.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and mechanical condition.
- Reliability and willingness to report vehicle problems or site challenges promptly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate concrete mixer trucks safely and efficiently.
- Deliver ready-mixed concrete to assigned construction sites on time.
- Keep vehicles clean and ensure trucks remain in good mechanical condition.
- Follow traffic laws and workplace safety protocols.
- Report vehicle faults and challenges encountered at construction sites promptly.
