JOB VACANCY: DISTRIBUTION TEAM LEAD

About the Opportunity
Concern Worldwide invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Distribution Team Lead under a four-month humanitarian response project in Nsanje District.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise food-distribution teams.
- Coordinate distribution activities with the World Food Programme (WFP), district authorities and community structures.
- Ensure distribution sites are accessible and safe for beneficiaries.
- Monitor project targets, budgets and distribution activities.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate distribution records.
- Manage complaints and feedback mechanisms while promoting safeguarding.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Humanitarian Assistance or a related field; alternatively, a relevant Diploma with significant experience, including line management.
- At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian assistance, food distribution or community mobilisation, with team-leadership experience.
- Experience managing food-distribution projects or similar emergency-response programmes.
- Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Chichewa and English.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging environments.
